How about Final Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal, or watch the famous quote from Rudyard Kipling over the door to the Centre Court on Sunday for the final? Will never happen? I agree. Will not happen until it happens. Just like someone back-to-back victories over Rafael Nadal in Masters final on clay.
Last year we lost before the final special for the first time since the beginning of the above long, the victim must meet Tomas Berdych and powerful Ground. Nothing shameful about that, but perhaps foreshadowed the inevitable decline we especially now that it just turned 30 weeks.
Sure, Federer had a large French Open, the only time he was better in 2009 when he received his only title at Roland Garros. But we have seen repeatedly that players move through their 30s, they lose the chance to play at their peak for long periods needed to win the majors and the majors chains. A fall in conflict, unable to cars triumphs and failures confusion, sometimes in the same week. Slightly all met Federer at Roland Garros at the end of last week.
Perhaps more importantly, after the final of Roland Garros Federer broke with tradition and pulled out of its usual grass-court event tune-up, Halle. Give it a tender groin and fatigue. A physical demands of the grass (on which much to squat, bend and loin), especially for a player coming out of clay, they are not important and easy to handle with a sore groin. And if general fatigue in the groin problem, the chances can be as sharp and focused Federer as he should drop dramatically. It was not as prone to be exhausted back into their heyday, right?
Nadal is showing signs that he is tired of the same old routine cross the Channel, but he was game enough to go to Roland Garros to play Queen's Club grass court event, it (as usually). He was not happy camper, however, and despite the obvious relief and comfort derived from winning the French Open, the dark cloud hanging over his head from Djokovic was able to challenge in April and May of circulating ever has.
See what I mean? More than ever, Federer and Nadal will need to be on their game A-(and attitude) to Wimbledon if they hope to be in the final. It is more a request than in recent years
Nadal is still grumbling about the demands of the schedule and the adverse effects of pro player by the way of life, and is starting to scare some of the more observant viewers Nadal.
