David Villa Barcelona joined Valencia last summer for € 40 million and scored 23 goals in all competitions as the Catalan club win the Liga season and the Champions League last double.
Villa says he wants to play the rest of his career at Barcelona, dismissing reports linking him with a move away from the champions of Europe.
Chelsea and Manchester City striker being linked with a summer transfer speculation inflated following recent success on the ground.
However, the city canceled the rumors on Friday: "It was everything I said it was blocked because it is not rumors or speculation, it's a lie I hope I can retire at Barca because it would making all that great for me ..
"I wish I had the opportunity to retire at Barca though I only 29. It would be very nice. I'd be at Barca as long as possible."
Barcelona has a lot of money is Udinese winger Alexis Sanchez and Cesc Fabregas Arsenal captain during the last week, and would suggest Villa willing to play along with the pair at the NOU Camp if they are given to the club.
