A Greek court is to examine the evidence that City clash with Aris Thessaloniki in February was the target of a scam bet.
Carlos Tevez has denied any knowledge of a scam paris achievable in games of Europa League Manchester City last season.
Aris midfielder Kostas Mendrinos is heard suggesting they could ask his team-mate - former City player Nery Castillo - to persuade Tevez to leave the kick off Greek side.
Prosecutors have introduced excerpts from a telephone conversation in which players of the Greek team claims that they approach Tevez to help remove the sting.
But a spokesman for Tevez has denied any knowledge of or involvement in the alleged scam.
"It is impossible," said the spokesman.
Despite being a game of the former City, and Tevez Castillo rarely actually played together for the Premier League club.
"Carlos has rarely heard such a thing and never approached him."
